2 Nep 6:42 But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel; they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it; they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world: and their joy shall be full for ever.
2 Nep 12:87 And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work, among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth.
2 Nep 12:88 And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity, for the meek of the earth.
2 Nep 14:12 But behold I say unto you, that ye must pray always, and not faint: that ye must not perform anything unto the Lord, save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.
Jacob:
Jac 1:8 Wherefore, we would to God that we could persuade all men not to rebel against God, to provoke him to anger, but that all men would believe in Christ, and view his death, and suffer his cross, and bear the shame of the world; wherefore, I, Jacob, take it upon me to fulfill the commandment of my brother Nephi.
Jac 2:22 Think of your brethren, like unto yourselves, and be familiar with all, and free with your substance, that they may be rich like unto you.
Jac 2:23 But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God.
Jac 2:24 And after ye have obtained a hope in Christ, ye shall obtain riches, if ye seek them; and ye will seek them, for the intent to do good; to clothe the naked, and to feed the hungry, and to liberate the captive, and administer relief to the sick, and the afflicted.
Jac 4:3 And in the day that he shall set his hand again the second time to recover his people, is the day, yea, even the last time, that the servants of the Lord shall go forth in his power, to nourish and prune his vineyard; and after that, the end soon cometh.
Jac 4:4 And how blessed are they who have labored diligently in his vineyard; and how cursed are they who shall be cast out into their own place!
Omni:
Omni 1:46 And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption.
Omni 1:47 Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth, ye will be saved.
Mosiah:
Mos 1:49 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.
Mos 1:50 Behold, ye have called me your king; and if I, whom ye call your king, do labor to serve you, then had not ye ought to labor to serve one another?
Mos 1:53 I say unto you, that if ye should serve him who has created you from the beginning, and art preserving you from day to day, by lending you breath, that ye may live and move, and do according to your own will, and even supporting you from one moment to another;
Mos 1:54 I say, if ye should serve him with all your whole soul, yet ye would be unprofitable servants.
Mos 1:55 And behold, all that he requires of you, is to keep his commandments; and he has promised you that if ye would keep his commandments, ye should prosper in the land;
Mos 1:56 And he never doth vary from that which he hath said; therefore, if ye do keep his commandments, he doth bless you, and prosper you.
Mos 1:97 For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven, among the children of men, and shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay,
Mos 1:98 And shall go forth amongst men, working mighty miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, causing the lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases;
Mos 1:103 And lo, he cometh unto his own, that salvation might come unto the children of men, even through faith, on his name;
Mos 2:9 I say unto you, if ye have come to a knowledge of the goodness of God, and his matchless power, and his wisdom, and his patience, and his long suffering towards the children of men,
Mos 2:10 And also, the atonement which has been prepared from the foundation of the world, that thereby salvation might come to him that should put his trust in the Lord, and should be diligent in keeping his commandments, and continue in the faith even unto the end of his life; I mean the life of the mortal body;
Mos 2:11 I say, that this is the man who receiveth salvation, through the atonement which was prepared from the foundation of the world, for all mankind, which ever were, ever since the fall of Adam, or who are or who ever shall be, even unto the end of the world; and this is the means whereby salvation cometh.
Mos 2:16 And again: Believe that ye must repent of your sins and forsake them, and humble yourselves before God; and ask in sincerity of heart that he would forgive you:
Mos 2:17 And now, if you believe all these things, see that ye do them.
Mos 2:18 And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God,
Mos 2:19 Or if ye have known of his goodness, and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceeding great joy in your souls,
Mos 2:20 Even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long suffering towards you unworthy creatures,
Mos 2:21 And humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel;
Mos 2:22 And behold, I say unto you, that if ye do this, ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins;
Mos 2:23 And ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.
Mos 2:22 And behold, I say unto you, that if ye do this, ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins;
Mos 2:23 And ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.
Mos 2:24 And ye will not have a mind to injure one another, but to live peaceably, and to render to every man according to that which is his due.
Mos 2:28 And also, ye yourselves will succor those that stand in need of your succor; ye will administer of your substance unto him that standeth in need;
Mos 2:27 But ye will teach them to walk in the ways of truth and soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another;
Mos 2:28 And also, ye yourselves will succor those that stand in need of your succor; ye will administer of your substance unto him that standeth in need;
Mos 2:29 And ye will not suffer that the begger putteth up his petition to you in vain, and turn him out to perish.
Mos 2:36 And now, if God, who has created you, on whom you are dependent for your lives, and for all that ye have and are, doth grant unto you whatsoever ye ask that is right, in faith, believing that ye shall receive, O then, how had ye ought to impart of the substance that ye have, one to another?
Mos 2:42 And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you; that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God,
Mos 2:43 I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick, and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants,
Mos 2:44 And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order: for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength.
Mos 3:10 And under this head ye are made free; and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free.
Mos 3:11 There is no other name given, whereby salvation cometh, therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God, that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives.
Mos 3:21 Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him, who created all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.
Mos 8:42 I say unto you, that all those who have hearkened unto their words, and believed that the Lord would redeem his people, and have looked forward to that day for a remission of their sins;
Mos 8:43 I say unto you, that these are his seed, or they are heirs of the kingdom of God:
Mos 11:139 Yea, and as often as my people repent, will I forgive them their trespasses against me.
Mos 11:140 And ye shall also forgive one another your trespasses: for verily I say unto you, He that forgiveth not his neighbor’s trespasses, when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation.
Alma:
Alma 3:57 Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men; for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith, Repent, and I will receive you;
Alma 3:58 Yea, he saith, Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the bread and the waters of life freely;
Alma 3:59 Yea, come unto me and bring forth works of righteousness, and ye shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire;
Alma 3:62 Behold, I say unto you, that the good shepherd doth call you; yea, and in his own name he doth call you, which is the name of Christ;
Alma 4:5 Now I would that ye should understand that the word of God was liberal unto all; that none were deprived of the privilege of assembling themselves together to hear the word of God;
Alma 4:6 Nevertheless the children of God were commanded that they should gather themselves together oft, and join in fasting and mighty prayer, in behalf of the welfare of the souls of those who knew not God.
Alma 5:39 And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive, and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times;
Alma 5:40 Asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive,
Alma 5:41 And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works;
Alma 10:19 Yea, and the voice of the Lord, by the mouth of angels, doth declare it, unto all nations: yea, doth declare it, that they may have glad tidings of great joy;
Alma 10:20 Yea, and he doth sound these glad tidings among all his people, yea, even to them that are scattered abroad upon the face of the earth; wherefore they have come unto us.
Alma 10:19 Yea, and the voice of the Lord, by the mouth of angels, doth declare it, unto all nations: yea, doth declare it, that they may have glad tidings of great joy;
Alma 10:26 And it shall be made known unto just and holy men, by the mouth of angels, at the time of his coming, that the words of our fathers may be fulfilled, according to that which they have spoken concerning him, which was according to the spirit of prophecy which was in them.
Alma 14:91 But Ammon said unto him, I do not boast in my own strength, or in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God;
Alma 14:92 Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength, I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God; for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name for ever.
Alma 16:137 Yea, he that truly humbleth himself and repenteth of his sins, and endureth to the end, the same be blessed; yea, much more blessed than they who are compelled to be humble, because of their exceeding poverty; therefore blessed are they who humble themselves without being compelled to be humble,
Alma 16:152 Now we will compare the word unto a seed.
Alma 16:153 Now if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts;
Alma 16:154 And when you feel those swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves, It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding; yea, and it beginneth to be delicious to me.
Alma 16:223 And now behold, my brethren, I say unto you, Do not suppose that this is all; for after ye have done all these things, if ye turn away the needy, and the naked, and visit not the sick and afflicted, and impart of your substance if ye have, to those who stand in need;
Alma 16:224 I say unto you, If ye do not any of these things, behold, your prayer is vain, and availeth you nothing, and ye are as hypocrites who do deny the faith;
Alma 17:69 Yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest, let it be in the Lord; yea, let thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord for ever; counsel the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good:
Alma 19:78 Therefore, my son, see that ye are merciful unto your brethren; deal justly, judge righteously, and do good continually; and if ye do all these things, then shall ye receive your reward;
Helaman:
Hel 3:115 Blessed art thou, Nephi, for those things which thou hast done; for I have beheld how thou hast with unwearyingness declared the word which I have given unto thee, unto this people.
Hel 3:116 And thou hast not feared them, and hast not sought thine own life, but have sought my will, and to keep my commandments.
Hel 3:117 And now because thou hast done this with such unwearyingness, behold, I will bless thee for ever; and I will make thee mighty in word and in deed, in faith and in works; yea, even that all things
3 Nephi:
3 Nep 1:17 For behold at the going down of the sun, there was no darkness; and the people began to be astonished, because there was no darkness when the night came.
3 Nep 1:18 And there were many who had not believed the words of the prophets, fell to the earth, and became as if they were dead, for they knew that the great plan of destruction which they had laid for those who believed in the words of the prophets, had been frustrated, for the sign which had been given was already at hand; and they began to know that the Son of God must shortly appear;
3 Nep 1:19 Yea, in fine, all the people upon the face of the whole earth, from the west to the east, both in the land north and in the land south, were so exceedingly astonished, that they fell to the earth;
3 Nep 4:48 I am the light and the life of the world. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
3 Nep 4:49 And ye shall offer up unto me no more the shedding of blood; yea, your sacrifices and your burnt offerings shall be done away, for I will accept none of your sacrifices and your burnt offerings; and ye shall offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
3 Nep 5:11 And it came to pass that he stretched forth his hand, and spake unto the people, saying, Behold I am Jesus Christ, of whom the prophets testified should come into the world:
3 Nep 5:12 And behold I am the light and the life of the world, and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things, from the beginning.
3 Nep 7:29 And then will I gather them in from the four quarters of the earth; and then will I fulfill the covenant which the Father hath made unto all the people of the house of Israel.
3 Nep 8:6 And he said unto them, Behold, my bowels are filled with compassion towards you: Have ye any that are sick among you, bring them hither.
3 Nep 8:7 Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner, bring them hither, and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you;
3 Nep 8:9 And it came to pass that when he had thus spoken, all the multitude, with one accord, did go forth, with their sick, and their afflicted, and their lame, and with their blind, and with their dumb, and with all they that were afflicted in any manner; and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him;
3 Nep 8:10 And they did all, both they who had been healed, and they who were whole, bow down at his feet, and did worship him;
3 Nep 8:49 Behold I am the light; I have set an example for you.
3 Nep 8:50 And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words unto his disciples, he turned again unto the multitude, and said unto them, Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye must watch and pray always, lest ye enter into temptation;
3 Nep 9:85 Then shall this covenant which the Father hath covenanted with his people, be fulfilled; and then shall Jerusalem be inhabited again with my people, and it shall be the land of their inheritance.
3 Nep 9:86 And verily, I say unto you, I give unto you a sign, that ye may know the time when these things shall be about to take place, that I shall gather in from their long dispersion, my people, O house of Israel, and shall establish again among them my Zion.
3 Nep 11:13 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
4 Nephi:
4 Nep 1:17 And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of God which did dwell in the hearts of the people.
4 Nep 1:18 And there were no envyings, nor strifes, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness;
4 Nep 1:19 And surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God:
Ether:
Eth 5:28 I give unto men weakness, that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
Eth 5:29 Behold, I will shew unto the Gentiles their weakness, and I will shew unto them that faith, hope, and charity, bringeth unto me the fountain of all righteousness.
Eth 5:33 And again I remember that thou hast said that thou hast loved the world, even unto the laying down of thy life for the world, that thou mightest take it again to prepare a place for the children of men.
Eth 5:34 And now I know that this love which thou hast had for the children of men, is charity; wherefore, except men shall have charity, they can not inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father.
Moroni:
Moroni 7:26 And as sure as Christ liveth, he spake these words unto our fathers, saying, Whatsoever thing ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is good, in faith believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be done unto you.
Moroni 7:51 And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things; wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth.
Moroni 7:52 Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail; but charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth for ever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with them.
Moroni 10:6 And whatsoever thing is good, is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
Moroni 10:7 And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you, that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same to-day and to-morrow, and for ever.
Moroni 10:29 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in no wise deny the power of God.
[Sec 1:4c] the weak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow man, neither trust in the arm of flesh, but that every man might speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the world;
[Sec 1:4d] that faith also might increase in the earth; that mine everlasting covenant might be established;
[Sec 1:4e] that the fullness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple, unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.
[Sec 3:14a] Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I came unto my own, and my own received me not.
[Sec 3:14b] I am the light which shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehendeth it not.
[Sec 3:14c] I am he who said, Other sheep have I which are not of this fold, unto my disciples, and many there were that understood me not.
[Sec 3:15a] And I will show unto this people, that I had other sheep, and that they were a branch of the house of Jacob; and I will bring to light their marvelous works, which they did in my name;
[Sec 4:1a] Now, behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men,
[Sec 4:1b] therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind, and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day;
[Sec 4:1c] therefore, if ye have desires to serve God, ye are called to the work, for, behold, the field is white already to harvest,
[Sec 4:1d] and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perish not, but bringeth salvation to his soul;
[Sec 4:1e] and faith, hope, charity, and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualifies him for the work.
[Sec 6:2a] Behold, the field is white already to harvest, therefore whoso desireth to reap, let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God;
[Sec 6:2b] yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle and reap, the same is called of God;
[Sec 6:2c] therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive, if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.
[Sec 6:3a] Now, as you have asked, behold, I say unto you, Keep my commandments, and seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion:
[Sec 6:3b] seek not for riches but for wisdom; and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich.
[Sec 6:3c] Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.
[Sec 6:4a] Verily, verily I say unto you, Even as you desire of me, so shall it be unto you; and if you desire, you shall be the means of doing much good in this generation.
[Sec 6:4b] Say nothing but repentance unto this generation: keep my commandments, and assist to bring forth my work according to my commandments, and you shall be blessed.
[Sec 6:16a] Therefore fear not, little flock, do good, let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my Rock, they can not prevail.
[Sec 6:16b] Behold, I do not condemn you, go your ways and sin no more: perform with soberness the work which I have commanded you; look unto me in every thought, doubt not, fear not:
[Sec 6:16c] behold the wounds which pierced my side, and also the prints of the nails in my hands and feet; be faithful; keep my commandments, and ye shall inherit the kingdom of heaven. Amen.
[Sec 10:2a] Behold, the field is white already to harvest, therefore, whoso desireth to reap, let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God;
[Sec 10:2b] yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle and reap, the same is called of God;
[Sec 10:2c] therefore, if you will ask of me, you shall receive; if you will knock, it shall be opened unto you.
[Sec 10:3a] Now as you have asked, behold, I say unto you, Keep my commandments, and seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion.
[Sec 17:4a] By these things we know that there is a God in heaven who is infinite and eternal, from everlasting to everlasting the same unchangeable God, the framer of heaven and earth and all things which are in them, and that he created man male and female;
[Sec 17:4b] after his own image and in his own likeness created he them, and gave unto them commandments that they should love and serve him the only living and true God, and that he should be the only being whom they should worship.
[Sec 18:1a] I am Alpha and Omega, Christ the Lord; yea, even I am He, the beginning and the end, the Redeemer of the world:
[Sec 18:1b] I having accomplished and finished the will of him whose I am, even the Father, concerning me; having done this, that I might subdue all things unto myself;
[Sec 18:1c] retaining all power, even to the destroying of Satan and his works at the end of the world, and the last great day of judgment, which I shall pass upon the inhabitants thereof, judging every man according to his works, and the deeds which he has done.
[Sec 18:6a] Pray always and I will pour out my Spirit upon you, and great shall be your blessing; yea, even more than if you should obtain treasures of earth and corruptibleness to the extent thereof.
[Sec 18:6b] Behold, canst thou read this without rejoicing and lifting up thy heart for gladness? or canst thou run about longer as a blind guide? or canst thou be humble and meek and conduct thyself wisely before me?
[Sec 18:6c] yea, come unto me thy Savior. Amen.
[Sec 19:3a] For, behold, I will bless all those who labor in my vineyard, with a mighty blessing, and they shall believe on his words, which are given him through me, by the Comforter, which manifesteth that Jesus was crucified by sinful men for the sins of the world; yea, for the remission of sins unto the contrite heart.
[Sec 22:23a] And the Lord God spake unto Moses, saying, The heavens, they are many and they can not be numbered unto man, but they are numbered unto me, for they are mine; and as one earth shall pass away, and the heavens thereof, even so shall another come;
[Sec 22:23b] and there is no end to my works, neither to my words; for this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality, and eternal life of man.
[Sec 23:5b] In me he shall have glory, and not of himself, whether in weakness or in strength, whether in bonds or free.
[Sec 23:5c] And at all times and in all places, he shall open his mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strength such as is not known among men.
[Sec 38:2a] But, behold, verily, verily I say unto you, that mine eyes are upon you:
[Sec 38:2b] I am in your midst and ye can not see me, but the day soon cometh that ye shall see me and know that I am; for the veil of darkness shall soon be rent, and he that is not purified shall not abide the day: wherefore, gird up your loins and be prepared.
[Sec 38:2c] Behold, the kingdom is yours and the enemy shall not overcome.
[Sec 38:5b] Wherefore, hear my voice and follow me, and you shall be a free people, and ye shall have no laws but my laws, when I come, for I am your lawgiver, and what can stay my hand?
[Sec 38:5c] But verily I say unto you, Teach one another according to the office wherewith I have appointed you, and let every man esteem his brother as himself, and practice virtue and holiness before me.
[Sec 46:7a] And again, verily I say unto you, To some it is given, by the Spirit of God, the word of wisdom;
[Sec 46:7b] to another it is given the word of knowledge, that all may be taught to be wise and to have knowledge.
[Sec 46:7c] And again, to some it is given to have faith to be healed, and to others it is given to have faith to heal.
[Sec 46:7d] And again, to some it is given the workings of miracles; and to others it is given to prophesy, and to others the discerning of spirits.
[Sec 46:7e] And again, it is given to some to speak with tongues, and to another it is given the interpretation of tongues:
[Sec 46:7f] and all these gifts come from God, for the benefit of the children of God.
[Sec 46:9a] And again I say unto you, All things must be done in the name of Christ, whatsoever you do in the spirit;
[Sec 46:9b] and ye must give thanks unto God in the spirit for whatever blessing ye are blessed with; and ye must practice virtue and holiness before me continually. Even so. Amen.
[Sec 49:5c] Behold, I say unto you, Go forth as I have commanded you; repent of all your sins; ask and ye shall receive; knock and it shall be opened unto you:
[Sec 49:5d] behold, I will go before you, and be your rearward; and I will be in your midst, and you shall not be confounded; behold, I am Jesus Christ, and I come quickly. Even so. Amen.
[Sec 59:4a] And inasmuch as ye do these things, with thanksgiving, with cheerful hearts, and countenances; not with much laughter, for this is sin, but with a glad heart and a cheerful countenance;
[Sec 59:4b] verily I say, that inasmuch as ye do this the fullness of the earth is yours: the beasts of the fields, and the fowls of the air, and that which climbeth upon the trees, and walketh upon the earth;
[Sec 65:1d] pray unto the Lord; call upon his holy name; make known his wonderful works among the people, call upon the Lord, that his kingdom may go forth upon the earth;
[Sec 77:4a] Verily, verily I say unto you, Ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father has in his own hands, and prepared for you; and ye can not bear all things now;
[Sec 77:4b] nevertheless be of good cheer, for I will lead you along; the kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours; and the riches of eternity are yours;
[Sec 77:4c] and he who receiveth all things, with thankfulness, shall be made glorious, and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundredfold, yea, more;
[Sec 77:4e] And he that is a faithful and wise steward shall inherit all things. Amen.
[Sec 85:38a] See that ye love one another; cease to be covetous; learn to impart one to another as the gospel requires; cease to be idle; cease to be unclean; cease to find fault one with another;
[Sec 85:38b] cease to sleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed early, that ye may not be weary; arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be invigorated;
[Sec 85:38c] and above all things, clothe yourselves with the bonds of charity, as with a mantle, which is a bond of perfectness and peace; pray always, that you may not faint until I come; behold, and lo, I will come quickly, and receive you unto myself. Amen.
[Sec 97:4c] Therefore, let your hearts be comforted, for all things shall work together for good to them that walk uprightly, and to the sanctification of the church;
[Sec 97:4d] for I will raise up unto myself a pure people, that will serve me in righteousness; and all that call on the name of the Lord and keep his commandments, shall be saved. Even so. Amen.
[Sec 101:2b] It is wisdom in me; therefore, a commandment I give unto you, that ye shall organize yourselves, and appoint every man his stewardship, that every man may give an account unto me of the stewardship which is appointed unto him;
[Sec 101:2c] for it is expedient that I, the Lord, should make every man accountable, as stewards over earthly blessings, which I have made and prepared for my creatures.
[Sec 101:2d] I, the Lord, stretched out the heavens, and builded the earth as a very handy work; and all things therein are mine; and it is my purpose to provide for my saints, for all things are mine; but it must needs be done in mine own way;
[Sec 101:2e] and, behold, this is the way, that I, the Lord, have decreed to provide for my saints;
[Sec 101:2f] that the poor shall be exalted, in that the rich are made low; for the earth is full, and there is enough and to spare; yea, I prepared all things, and have given unto the children of men to be agents unto themselves.
[Sec 105:5a] Be thou humble, and the Lord thy God shall lead thee by the hand, and give thee answer to thy prayers. I know thy heart, and have heard thy prayers concerning thy brethren.
[Sec 105:5b] Be not partial towards them in love above many others, but let thy love be for them as for thyself; and let thy love abound unto all men, and unto all who love my name.
[Sec 105:5c] And pray for thy brethren of the Twelve. Admonish them sharply for my name’s sake, and let them be admonished for all their sins; and be ye faithful before me unto my name.
[Sec 110:24a] Behold, the great day of the Lord is at hand, and who can abide the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appeareth, for he is like a refiner’s fire and like fuller’s soap;
[Sec 110:24b] and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
[Sec 110:24c] Let us, therefore, as a church and a people, and as Latter Day Saints, offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness, and let us present in his holy temple, when it is finished, a book containing the records of our dead, which shall be worthy of all acceptation.
[Sec 119:8b] All are called according to the gifts of God unto them; and to the intent that all may labor together, let him that laboreth in the ministry and him that toileth in the affairs of the men of business and of work labor together with God for the accomplishment of the work intrusted to all.
[Sec 142:5a] The hopes of my people and the goals of my church, while not yet fully realized, and at times and to many seemingly distant, are closer to realization than many recognize.
[Sec 142:5b] It is yet day when all can work. The night will come when for many of my people opportunity to assist will have passed.
